A-frame 10’ by 12’ cabin with porch, next to an orchard. 2 single beds on main floor (can be moved together) and one loft crawl-in space at the top of a ladder. Very private walk-in site. 350 meters from where you will park your car. We can help transport luggage.

Fire pit, picnic table/benches near the apple orchard. Camper propane stove. Kitchen basics. Water in portable tote used in a dry sink. Outdoor composting toilet in outhouse. Tiny wood stove for heat. 45 min. to 1 hr. away from Algonquin Park (depending on access point).

Please feel free to fill out this contact form if you have any questions. We provide indoor wood for heat. Outdoor wood for campfire is $10 per bundle. Please do not bring your own. There are 5 km of snowshoe/hiking trails. We rent snowshoes $30 per pair.

About Rise Above Guest House

Our name choice was inspired by the “Rise Above” artwork by Kurt Flett, an Oji-Cree (Swampy Cree) from Garden Hill First Nation in the Island Lake region of northern Manitoba. Come and join us in our adventure with the Land as we continue to learn what she has to teach us.
