Guided Forest Therapy/Forest Bathing
Welcome,
motto of ANFT* trained guides
A guided Forest Therapy and/or guided Forest Bathing walk, led by certified Guide Marilyn Zehr,* will assist in deepening your connection to the natural world around you. Marilyn facilitates this connection with the world of the forest and its creatures by inviting participants to slow down, sense, touch, listen, smell, taste, and see, as if for the first time, the web of life all around us.
A series of invitations offered by Marilyn will encourage participants to
go slow not fast,
be grounded not harried,
be present here and not trying to get there.
This kind of presence and connection opens up all kinds of possibilities for the healing benefits of being in the natural world** and expanded awareness of relationships we didn’t know we had forgotten about with the world around us and maybe even within ourselves.
Along the way there will be opportunities to share your observations/insights with fellow participants.
Also, every 2 hr. plus forest bathing walk concludes with a wild-foraged tea and snack.
Forest Therapy Walks led by certified ANFT Guide Marilyn Zehr are available year-round. Marilyn loves guiding in winter. With the right clothing and gear, the winter is magical.
